Magical Party Dresses, Little Boots Style

Victoria Hesketh AKA Little Boots is a songstress with more than her fair share of style. Even her stage name alludes to the fact that she pays quite close attention to what she wears particularly on her feet. Her concerts showcase some wild outfits which she admits are ‘ a visual aid’ and all part of the performance.  With Little Boots signature style of electro pop gaining her more and more fans and her latest album ‘Hands’ released this  year and reaching number 5 in the UK charts, it looks like we are set to see lots more of Little Boots and her style.

But there is a lot more to Little Boots than her shows and performances, like most celebrities she loves to party and is also considered a style icon off stage. Little Boots is known for dressing eccentrically but also for her cute party dresses and the quirky prints that she wears. She loves disco dresses and prints that feature magic and fantasy. She likes shopping in vintage shops but also mixes high street pieces and has often been spotted in clothes from Motel Rocks. Here are some great Motel pieces that we know Little Boots would love to party in.

This Motel Belinda Cloud and Bird Dress features an amazing image which is just the sort of magical scene that Little Boots would love. The muted colours would look great with a faded denim jacket and it can be dressed up for a party with some silver jewellery or worn with an over sized chunky knit and boots (little ones!) for a more casual look.

This Motel Wanda Feathers dress is reminiscent of some of the quirky prints that Little Boots has been seen out and about in. The tulip style skirt is flattering for everyone and it would look great with a black tuxedo jacket and some killer heels.  The strapless sweetheart neckline is perfect for showing off a quirky statement necklace and you could also add a belt in a contrasting colour.

Little Boots has also been spotted partying in a black lace dress by Motel. This Motel Jean dress in black lace is their latest version of the lace dress which is perfect for the winters lace trend. This dress needs very little in the way of accessories just a simple necklace and a great pair of heels. For a party cover up wear with a tailored jacket.

Little Boots like so many of us is a little partial to a LBT (little black dress) which is the most versatile party dress that you can get. She has previously in a black peplum dress by Motel which has now unfortunately sold out but we think she would also love this Barbara dress which has a really flattering neckline and three quarter length sleeves. Try wearing it with a sleeveless vintage denim jacket for a real pop princess look.

Little Boots has also designed a range of disco inspired clothes for high street store Oasis in the past, loves big shoulders and confesses to shopping in other mainstream high street shops when she has time.
