Party Dresses with Tiers and Ruffles will be a big trend this summer, and as March signals the start of summer in the Fashion world we at Party Dresses thought we would cheer you up with some Dresses and tops which have a summer flavour to them.

And after having endured the coldest winter for some 30 years and being wrapped up like some spa day beauty treatment in layer after layer of clothes just to keep warm, its a nice relief amongst all the gloom to eventually look toward to the summer at last, and the long hot hazy days of summer when you can afford to shed one or two layers at least.

Well with that in mind, we saw some recommended party clothes for exactly that summer weather that I alluded to earlier.

These were recommendations by Luisa De Paula, who is the Buying & Merchandising Director of www.my-wardrobe.com, who we at Party Dresses are proud to have as partners on the website.

Luisa, has picked up on the ruffles and Tiers trend that will be big in 2009, very much along with the Grecian draped look.

She has picked out four absolutely wonderful choices for you to consider.

  1. Jasmine Di Milo | Black Strapless Knot Cocktail Dress by Jasmine Di Milo
This Classic cocktail dress is a garment that every girl should have at least one of, and it has to black. This works as blank canvas upon which to accessorise. Depending how daring you want to be match them with a pair of peep toe red sandals, or be more conservative with a classic black high heel.
  2. Paul Smith Black | Monochrome Stripey Dress by Paul Smith Black
Paul Smith not only makes exception clothes but his cut is exquisite. This monchrome stripy dress is ever so slighty sheer and very fitted, and with that asymmetrical design you have to be very careful you can pull it off. Accesorise with red contrasting colours which will add a nautical look which is very in at the mo.
  3. See by Chloe | Black Cape Dress by See by Chloé
This is such a versatile little black number, just as easy to wear it out about on an evening, but equally it could be just as easily served as a day dress with a pair of flats and a a loose fitting belt, however you decide to wear it, this dress will always look to covet
  4. Vivienne Westwood Anglomania | White Bow Neck Jabot Blouse by Vivienne Westwood Anglomania
This wonderful Vivienne Westwood blouse is another wardrobe must have, easy to wear and easy to mix and match with either a pair of wide legged trousers or tucked in to a fitted shirt
